GloveCat Liquidity and Token Lock Structure

How to read the official WETH/GCAT liquidity evidence, project-owned LP lock, and separate team and treasury vesting records.

Added a transaction-by-transaction reconstruction of the liquidity evidence and explicit limits on what public locks prove.

Read the editorial and evidence standards

1. Start with the registered pair

GloveCat's published market route is the Aerodrome Classic Volatile WETH/GCAT pair on Base. The initial liquidity transaction supplied 5.51 WETH and 375,000,000 GCAT. Verify the pair address and token sides directly on Basescan before using a DEX link.

2. Understand the LP-token lock

Adding liquidity creates LP tokens representing the position. The project-owned LP tokens were placed into a PinkSale / PinkLock V2 normal ERC-20 token lock. The published record covers 45,456.02270326782560651 vAMM-WETH/GCAT and an unlock date of June 24, 2031 at 00:00 UTC.

Check the lock transaction, destination contract, asset, amount, and unlock time. A lock page or screenshot without the matching on-chain transaction is incomplete evidence.

3. Token vesting is separate

The team allocation and long-term treasury reserve are GCAT token locks, not LP-token locks. The team record covers 25,000,000 GCAT, while the long-term treasury record covers 95,000,000 GCAT. Both use the published vesting schedule beginning June 28, 2026.

Keeping these categories separate prevents a common mistake: an LP lock does not prove that team tokens are locked, and a token vesting record does not prove that liquidity cannot be withdrawn.

4. Reconstruct the evidence chain

To review the liquidity claim, begin at the official pair and confirm the two underlying tokens. Then open the initial liquidity transaction and identify the assets supplied and the LP tokens created. Follow the project-owned LP tokens to the published lock contract, verify the lock identifier, asset address, amount, beneficiary, and unlock timestamp, and compare those fields with the lock transaction receipt. This chain links the market pair to the specific locked asset instead of relying on a lock-page label.

Review team and treasury vesting separately. Each record should identify GCAT as the asset, its own beneficiary and amount, the vesting start, initial release percentage, cycle length, cycle release percentage, and the transaction that created the record. If an explorer or lock interface rounds a value, use the underlying transaction or contract read for the precise amount.

5. Understand what locks do not prove

An LP-token lock constrains the locked LP position until its terms allow release. It does not freeze the pair price, prevent other holders from trading, guarantee a minimum reserve, or prove that every unit of liquidity is project-owned. Likewise, a GCAT vesting record constrains the tokens in that record but does not describe all circulating holders or future market behavior.

Current liquidity questions require current evidence: pair reserves, LP-token supply and holders, pending lock changes, route selection, trade size, and quote impact. Treat the 2031 unlock time and the vesting schedule as custody facts for named records, then inspect mutable market conditions immediately before any swap.

6. Recheck mutable liquidity conditions

The initial deposit and lock transaction are dated evidence. Current reserves, trading activity, price impact, and LP balances can change. Recheck the pair contract and current DEX quote immediately before a transaction.

Sources and evidence

Dated transactions prove historical events; balances, ownership, readiness, and quotes must be checked again when used.
