Read the editorial and evidence standards

1. Token and network

What is GCAT? GCAT is the fixed-supply ERC-20 token used by the independent GloveCat project on Base mainnet. The total supply is 500,000,000 GCAT with 18 decimals.

What is the official address? 0x59df0577C7A5014954C0d6Cc12616e92E34d9fF4. Compare it on Basescan and the official documentation before adding or approving the token.

Is GloveCat affiliated with Base or Coinbase? No. Base is the public network used by the deployment; it is not an endorsement or sponsorship.

2. Fees and trading

What are the token fees? The active contract uses a 0% buy token fee and a fixed 1% ecosystem sell fee through the registered pool.

Does 0% buy fee mean a free trade? No. DEX fees, price impact, slippage, and Base gas are separate.

What is the official pair? Aerodrome Classic Volatile WETH/GCAT at 0x6330Bb184d90D78F336270485C3d17AB8AE8dD54.

3. Staking and rewards

What lock periods exist? The current staking contract offers fixed 30-, 90-, and 180-day positions with base annualized parameters of 2%, 5%, and 8%.

Can principal be withdrawn early? The published contract interface allows principal withdrawal after the selected position matures.

Where do rewards come from? A finite funded incentive pool. Rewards are not newly minted, and current availability must be checked live.

4. NFTs and boosts

Do NFT boosts activate immediately after transfer? No. The current holding delay is one day, followed by an on-chain activation step.

Do duplicate tiers stack? No. Different active tiers stack up to the final 4.0x cap; repeated NFTs from the same tier do not add repeated boost.

Does transferring an NFT remove an existing lock boost? Existing locks keep their creation-time snapshot. The sender cannot use the transferred NFT for future locks.

5. Locks and evidence

Are project-owned LP tokens locked? The published LP position is locked through PinkSale / PinkLock V2 until June 24, 2031 at 00:00 UTC. Recheck the on-chain lock transaction and current state.

Are team and treasury tokens the same lock? No. Team and long-term treasury GCAT vesting records are separate from the LP-token lock.

6. How these answers are maintained

Each answer is tied to one of three evidence classes. Deployment identity comes from the published registry and exact contract addresses. Historical facts such as funding, trading activation, and locks come from transaction receipts and block timestamps. Mutable conditions such as pool health, balances, Safe policy, allowances, ownership, and quotes require a fresh read. The updated date changes when a material explanation or verified deployment fact changes, not for cosmetic edits.

During review, the project team checks that internal totals reconcile, linked addresses match the active Base deployment, sources remain reachable, and language does not turn technical parameters into financial promises. A correction request should identify the page, disputed sentence, and a public source that supports the change. Public evidence can be reviewed without sharing wallet secrets or personal account data.

7. Questions this FAQ cannot answer for you

The FAQ cannot determine whether GCAT is suitable for a reader, predict price, promise liquidity, estimate a future NFT market, guarantee continuous staking availability, or approve a wallet transaction. It also cannot authenticate a link received outside the official domain merely because the link uses the GloveCat name or artwork.

For a current contract condition, use the linked explorer or public-status response and note its observation time. For a DEX quote, wallet warning, tax question, or legal question, use the relevant current third-party information and qualified advice. The purpose of these answers is to expose verifiable mechanics and limits, not to replace an individual decision.

8. Official support and safety

Where can I ask a question? Use the channels linked from glovecatcoin.com or email [email protected]. No legitimate helper needs your seed phrase or private key.

Can a verified contract guarantee safety or returns? No. Verification makes source code readable. Smart-contract, wallet, liquidity, market, and third-party risks remain.

Sources and evidence

Dated transactions prove historical events; balances, ownership, readiness, and quotes must be checked again when used.
